Personal data and their processing
Personal data means both non-personal and personal data – information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. An identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier.
Personal data processing means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, archiving, erasure or destruction etc.
Heme.ro collects the personal data of the Users within the limits, goals and conditions provided by the Terms and Conditions. By using the Platform, the User grants heme.ro the right to store and process any personal data introduced in the Platform.
Your personal data shall be used solely by heme.ro and by Organisers, only for the purposes of registration for the Conference Black Sea and Balkans Security Forum 2021. Heme.ro shall not disclose your personal data to third parties without your permission, unless required to do so by the institutions holding such legal powers of the Romanian state.
Given the current technological developments, no internet data transmission may be 100% guaranteed secure. However, we take all necessary steps so that your personal data should be stored as safely as possible. We undertake to notify competent authorities on any possible data protection breaches. We shall take every reasonable step to prevent security breaches and to support authorities in case such breaches occur.
Your personal information shall only be stored as email records for the purposes of fulfilling your request. If you want to delete your personal data, at any time, please contact us at ajutor@heme.roor by using the contact details listed in the CONTACT page (email, phone number or online form).
Duration of the processing
Heme.ro shall store the personal data of the User only for the period of time necessary to achieve the purposes of processing, more specifically the participation in the conference Black Sea and Balkans Security Forum 3-4 September 2021, pursuant to the provisions above and to the legal provisions in force.
What happens to the personal data of the Users after the completion of the processing
After the aforementioned duration of processing has expired, and the Organiser no longer has legal reasons or a legitimate interest in the processing of your personal data, the personal data will be deleted.
